Do you offer eco-friendly jewelry packaging options?
Yes. We offer FSC-certified greyboard and paper materials. Leatherette paper is a more sustainable alternative to genuine leather. Water-based adhesives are used where possible. Mono-material jewelry boxes (all paper, no plastic foam) are available for brands with strict sustainability requirements. Recycled-content greyboard is available on request. Paper sleeves use 100% recyclable card stock.
Can I get a sample before production?
Yes. Pre-production samples are standard for all custom jewelry box orders. The sample includes the actual printed and assembled box with the specified cover material, interior lining, insert type, and foil stamping. This allows verification of color accuracy, structural quality, jewelry fit, and unboxing experience before full production. Material swatch kits showing available greyboard densities, cover materials, and lining fabrics are available on request.
What is the difference between a leatherette paper cover and flocking on the exterior?
Leatherette paper is paper with an embossed leather-grain surface coating: it looks and feels like synthetic leather, is durable, wipe-clean, and available in the widest color range. Flocking on the exterior is electrostatically applied fiber particles that create a velvet-like surface: it feels soft and plush but is less durable, shows handling marks, and cannot be foil stamped as cleanly. Typically, jewelry boxes use leatherette for the exterior (durability) and flocking or velvet for the interior (scratch protection). Some bridal and romantic lines use velvet on both exterior and interior for a fully plush presentation.
